Located in the Shasta Valley, surrounding the town of Yreka, the Yreka Area Fire Safe Council serves as a resource for landowners and stakeholders in the community to work together to avoid the devestating effects of catastrophic wildland fire.
Grant Update, April 2008:
The Yreka Area Fire Safe Council is pleased to announce the awarding of funding to provide 15 elderly and disabled landowners with the services they need to increase the survivability of their homes in a wildland fire event.
