Opportunities in the Natural Resource Field
NCRC enhances the region through the support of emerging occupations in ecosystem management by providing a highly skilled workforce and technical assistance to the natural resource community.
Individuals are trained with a vocational/technical emphasis supported by field work experience. NCRC provides interns who are continuing training in the field of ecosystem management through practical experience, demonstrated on public and private lands and supports economic development to give communities, workers and their families opportunities to survive in businesses often affected by changes in policies.
Strong partnerships are the cornerstone to insuring the success of the economic interests in the area. This all leads to indirect benefits for the long-term economic goals of Siskiyou County.
